    I bought these to wear for skydiving in the summer, as my full-length jumpsuit would give me heat stroke.
    They are about 4 inches long, just long enough to keep my legstraps from chafing my skin. I'm 5'1" and 115 lbs, the size small fits comfortably but not tight enough to suffocate my lady-parts. They are thick enough that I can go w/o underwear, and there's a gusset. It's not cotton-lined, but whatever.
    The style is flattering, so I bought these in several colors.
    The only part about these shorts that I don't like: they creep up my waist and this in turn pulls them up on my legs. Not bad enough to bother me much though.

    I bought these shorts to wear for my gym workouts which include weight lifting/circuits, etc. I love the material--it is comfortable and doesn't show wet sweat marks in certain areas like cotton blend shorts do. I ordered 2 different sizes because I was in between on the size chart. Both sizes seemed to fit the same on the leg but there is a difference in the waist. The band on the leg is a bit more snug than I would like but since it didn't feel any different on the larger size, I chose the smaller size because the waist fit better. It also says 4" inseam but they seem shorter than that which I don't mind. I would buy these shorts again.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
