      Like the other commenter, I can't get it to work. The sensor and the magnet are well within 1-3 cm of each other, and nothing happens. I will be returning this and spending more on another, better one--you do get what you pay for, after all.

          I did not put "pros" because if the unit doesn't work, who cares if it is lightweight, easy to install, etc. I have two, and if I line the magnet and the sensor up absolutely precisely and have it actually physically brush by each other (they must touch when the wheel turns), it works. But unfortunately, when they touch they go out of alignment and the unit stops working. The 1-3mm distance in the manual is not close enough to trigger the count.

            This computer does have an option for km or miles it is in the book. So far it has been a great basic computer and seems pretty accurate.
