No Pop

By CDubb

from VA

About Me Recreational Athlete

Pros

  • Good balance
  • No vibration

Cons

  • Very little pop

Best Uses

  • Batting Cage

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

I went yard the first two times I swung this bat. After that, the bat lost it's pop. The 34/30 is well balanced and feels good in the hand, so I'll save it for the batting cage.

Junk

By Tay

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

This thing hit great the first few pitches. But after getting dented everytime you hit with it, it becomes worthless. Don't waste your money.

Bent

By kpulse

from Utah

About Me Casual softball player

Pros

  • Looks cool

Cons

  • Gets bent easily

Best Uses

  • Best not to use

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

I have used this bat in 3 or 4 games. I started using someone else's bat because it had better pop. A teammate pointed out to me that my bat was bent above the grip. I don't know when it got bent but the bat easily has less than 100 hits on it. Don't waste your money on this bat, but if you do keep the receipt in an easily accessible place to use the warranty.

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

I have had this bat a week and a day. I have played 3 games and have not used this in batting practice or anything. Dented by game two. Didnt notice going into game 3. Ridiculous! I have two other eastons that have been used for 3+ years but not this bat. :( Easton needs to step up their game for this. Our team also has a Hammer and it has lasted longer. $20 bat... I spent [$] for mine. Yes Easton is gonna replace this but now I have to spend more money on a return and money to send out my receipt. REALLY??? I shouldn't have to pay for Easton's mistake. So now a [$] bat will become a [$] and I could have purchased one of the higher end bats instead. My suggestion is go with something a little higher grade. Spend the money thats what my dad told me and I should have listened. Im 22 and play in rec. Lower than E. If this does it again its gonna be my cage bat. Thanks for reading the review just please think twice. Im real. Love Easton's higher end, but please dont buy this bat. Save yourself the time and money.

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

This bat is exceptional , even several other players used it immediately . cannot use 26 or 28 ounce , but prefer higher weight , this 30 ounce does it perfectly . went 4 for 4 and scattered my hits , from a single to a gapper triple .

Nice feel, until it bends

By Brian

Comments about EASTON SK38 Cyclone Slow Pitch Softball Bat:

This bat lasted two practices and had less than 100 hits on it before it bent at the top of the grip. The end of the bat is now about a full inch from where is should be.
JUNK.
