The GIRO® Encinal sport-bike helmet is constructed with in-mold technology that fuses a tough outer microshell to the helmet's EPS foam liner. This process reinforces the areas around vents and ribs, making the helmet lighter, cooler and tougher. The Encinal uses GIRO®'s Acu Dial™ system, which combines single-handed adjustment with a full-fit band for a quick, sure fit.

I got this helmet as a gift. I ride my bike in the sun every day so I needed a helmet with good ventilation. It has an adjustable inner band and it doesn't chafe. If I could change anything I would have wanted a more heavy duty shell but for the price and the fact that it's just for casual biking, it's pretty good.
