This is the second one of the Alpine Design Zero Gravity Lounge Chairs I have purchased. It was one sale and I paid the same price for it in May of 2011 as I did 4 years ago! Very comfortable and the head rest cushion has a velcro strap which is an improvement over the last head rest cushion. Great item for a great price.

We use these chairs around our pool - they were put away for the winter We took them out Memorial Day weekend and they are rusted and the elastic holding the seat to the frame is shredding/ripping apart. It would be unsafe to have anyone sit on them. I called customer service and there is nothing that they can do - As per the customer service rep. no parts are available and so now I am the proud owner of 2 un-usable zero gravity chairs. This is extremely poor customer service!!!!! For a product made and sold by Sport Authority.
Comments about Alpine Design Oversized Zero Gravity Chair:
I selected the wide version of the zero-gravity because it is easier to get in and out of and operate. I liked the first on so much, I bought two more, however, the second on does not recline as far back as the first (the third is a gift, not yet tested).

Comments about Alpine Design Oversized Zero Gravity Chair:
This is a nice, big, well-constructed chair. I am 6-foot tall, however, and when reclining, my feet hang over the bottom bar, making it rather uncomfortable. You need a pillow under your ankles. Also, the device to hold the chair in place so it doesn't tilt back forward seems rather cheapy, just being held by plastic pressure (unless I haven't figured it out...there were no directions with it). I will keep it because once in position, it is strong and comfortable.
Comments about Alpine Design Oversized Zero Gravity Chair:
I use the chair every day on my back deck, and have also taken it on a few road trips. It folds, stores and transports easily, and lets me take my comfortable seating almost anywhere. Very roomy and durable. I'm very happy with it.
Comments about Alpine Design Oversized Zero Gravity Chair:
I was really looking forward to this chair but am very disappointed. The locks do not work, I thought it would be like others were I could just prop the legs up without having to lay all the way back and I can't, and am just disappointed.
Comments about Alpine Design Oversized Zero Gravity Chair:
Purchased in July and used once so far. After figuring out how to allow the chair to recline back, it was smooth sailing from there. The construction is very sturdy and one feels every secure laying back. Slightly heavy to carry, so stake out a spot in advance to place it. I'm hoping to have many years of usage from this chair and would buy again in a heartbeat.
