My girls did well on quad skates, so at 8 yrs of age, we bought in-line skates. According to them, these skates are very comfortable. They are built well, and provide ample ankle support. As others have stated, they run small. My twins wear size 3 and 4 in shoes. I bought these skates in size 4-7. My daughter who wears a 3 shoe wears these skates at size 5. My other daughter who wears a size 4 shoe wears these skates at size 7. Likewise, my son wears a size 1 shoe, and wears this skate in the boys' version at the size 2 setting. Definitely buy a bigger size than your child typically wears. Once you get the correct size, this skate is perfect.

My daughther, who takes a size 2 shoe, found the size 1-4's to be a bit short on length. We had to adjust these to the largest (size 4) in order for her to wear them. Sadly, she probably won't get more than 1 year use out of them. But as far as pros, they are easy to get on/off, very smooth, stylish, well-made, and great for a beginner. They are also very easy to adjust sizes!

Daughter is 2 - 2.5 shoe size. Had to adjust the 1 - 4 size to '4', and her toes were almost at the top. Will return for the 4 - 7 size. For the money they are nice skates. We are replacing ones we bought at a retail store, the wheels were junk and the brake a hard plastic. The wheels and brake wore down in about a month. I bought better wheels, but can't find a replacement for the brake. For the cost of those skates and the replacement wheels, I paid a little less than the price of these rollerblades. The wheels and brake, on these Rollerblade brand, are better quality. The sizing is off a bit.

These skates were perfect! They are very stylish, and they glide very smoothly! They are such a great value for the price. They are very true to size, I am a 6 and they fit my feet perfectly. But you could also be a size 4 because of the adjustable fit. I have been looking so long for inline skates and these ones seemed to be the ones! The width is great, and these are great for all terrain! I'm super glad I bought these awesome skates!:)

Like many other reviews we found these skates too small. My 8 year old daughter is a shoe size 4 so we thought the 4-7 size would be perfect. She could only fit in them at the highest setting (7) but we got these so she could grow into them. We bought them at the store and returned them. They do seem to be of great quality so if you're daughter is a size 2, I say go for it.

The blades did not fit, if I would have been able to return them to a store, I would not have returned them for a full refund. Also the order came in 3 shipments, which was a bit frustrating.

The skates were going to be a Christmas present for my youngest granddaughter. Did a lot of research about inline skates and these seem to fit the bill. Ordered them. Should have been here in plenty of time for Christmas...but they lost my order. Printed the UPS label but they never shipped. And now they don't have anymore her size. So I can't review the product but I can say the people in customer service although not really willing to admit at first it was their error wanted UPS to have the blame, they did not hesitate in giving me a refund when I asked for it.
