Wore this jacket for 6 weeks in Europe including 4 weeks in rainy Ireland. You will not feel a bit of wind or rain! Very very light weight and rolls up well for small storage. It is a shell so you would need layers for cold weather use. Has plenty of straps to adjust for tight fit. Since it is so water/wind proof it doesn't breathe much, but I've found that true of all true waterproof jackets like this. Not much of an issue unless it is very hot and rainy. Almost never write a review but this jacket was worth it!

Waited several weeks for the correct size to be in stock in our local store(there are still only xl) so we finally ordered online. Waited with great anticipation for the UPS guy to drop of the package. Was pretty disappointed to find a hole in the pocket!! Items at this price point are to be top quality. When reviewing the "free shipping" small print, found that a $6.50 fee would be charged for a return. Booooo! I would exchange it, but again, there is not the right size.

My girlfriend bought this for me and it's great. I've had some really nice gore-tex 100% waterproof jackets, but none were as light as this. It's really light but surprisingly warm. The hood doesn't look goofy either.
