Reading the reviews about this canopy not standing up to wind or being hard to set up I had to write one myself. No canopy will stand up to wind if not weighted or staked down. This canopy is compact and easy to pack. While it's nice having 2 people for set up I can easily set it up myself. The construction makes it near impossible to pinch your fingers when tearing it down, which is nice.
It's a good value, I use it to serve as shade for my dog and myself at dog agility trials and it's been great so far after 5 or 6 weekends.
This is not a heavy duty, "leave up all summer in all weather conditions" type of canopy! Those cost you $250+ and weigh a ton. This is light, easy to pack and great for quick set up at weekend events, camping and outdoor sports.
And if you stake it down and follow instructions setting it up/tearing it down you won't have any of the "issues" the previous reviewers wrote about =)

10x10 weekender 100 - A little wind tore this up, but the worst part is that the manufacturer doesn't stand behind their product, [...] So we are out of [$], and this canopy was only 2 months old. Boy do we feel taken. I hope you think twice before you buy, you may not have time to take it down if there is wind, and your warranty doesn't cover rain either!

Do not buy this product as it is a piece of junk. I do outside sales on the weekends and I have used the regular Quik Shade Weekender 64 Canopy (sold elsewhere) for years and it is a very good pop up tent.
But this "QUIK SHADE WEEKENDER 'ULTRA COMPACT' WEEKENDER 64 CANOPY",is a piece of junk and unlike the manufactures promotion is NOT like the Weekender 64 Canopy-the legs are thin and it is flimsy and breaks and needs 2 people to put up-very difficult to put up and take down and breaks easily and even rusted!! QUIK SHADE HAS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and does not stand behind their products. They would not make good on the 2 Ultra Compact Pop Up Canopies I had purchased that broke and rusted and were so bad to put up even though I had only used them a few times. As I had the regular Weekender 64 canopies i was using, I did not try using the Ultra Compacts for over a year after I bought them. Sports Authority would not make good on this either and just refered me to the manufacturer. So, I threw that money away!

We purchased out Quik Shade less than a year ago & it has already broke. We were able to use it 2 or 3 times at the beach, but went to track meet & when I tried to set it up, one of the legs would not fully extend out & the shade cover already has rips in it. That's what I get for buying the cheaper one.

We bought this canopy in June for a camping trip. The smaller pack size saved a lot of room in the car and we didn't have any trouble setting it up or taking it down. Then we took it to the first football game in September and one of the legs was stuck in the frame. NOT HAPPY. Finally got the leg out for the next game, pulled the frame out to set it up and the metal FRAME BROKE! Our old canopy still works great after about 5 years, so I guess we'll just keep using that one and we will try to save packing room somewhere else. DO NOT BUY THIS CANOPY!!

I purchased the "10x10" version of this canopy. I took it home and set it up. Very wobbly due to the 3-piece legs. They have a plastic insert at the junction of the legs and most of them fell out during the setup. This made the canopy even more wobbly. When I folded it down and put it in the carry bag, the zipper wouldn't close. I suggest you not buy this product. Spend the extra money and get a better designed, better built canopy. Check out the return policy. That pretty much says it all.

We've had a couple of these tents including the 10x10. You need to approach this canopy as a large umbrella. The first one I had was shredded in heavy winds (40+) during a Swim Meet in Panama City Florida. We developed a system of weighting to keep the four main legs solid with portable water buckets. This canopy is light and easy to to transport, but you must keep the legs weighted so they are able to anchor the structure. After we figured out the anchoring, we've not had an issue and use a pair of these nearly every weekend for tailgates, triathlons, and swim meets throughout Florida and Georgia.

The desert wind blew mine down and the poles were shredded in some places and bent in other places. Ended up on the car next to our camping spot. Found it very difficult to put up - took a lot of muscle to get it pushed up and locked.
