        I've had these skates for about 9 months now and they're holding up great.

        I am female, but decided to buy these because K2's selection of women's skates are very girly looking, wheras I loved these the minute i saw them. I did let my sister borrow them after a rainy day and she skated through mud and didn't bother to clean them, so the right skate is a little rusted and makes a noise (but nothing too bad-you cant see the rust).

        They are very comfortable, and the soft boot offers great flexibility without compromising support. My only complaint is that the buckle on my right skate doesn't tighten as much as I would like, but I'm guessing this is just my pair because my left skate tightens up just fine. Also, I tried taking off the break, but the screw that goes on the back wheel is extra long, so that when you remove the break apparatus there's a clicking sound because it's too lose. So if you want to take off the break you will have to buy an extra screw somewhere.

        Overall great skate, great fun, smooth ride. Perfect for street skating downtown on summer nights.
