This is our second table and the first one was at least 8+ years old and was outside in the Florida sun the whole time. Faded but still worked great.

First I have to say that this has to be the best designed packaging that I have ever seen. Not important in overall function of the table but it's an indicator of the thought put into the tables overall design.

My daughter and I put it together in about two hours. The instructions are in multiple languages since Kettler is a German made product. The pictures make things easier. They could be a bit easier, but overall functional. The only item to play close attention to is the sliding brackets that go onto the main frame.

The quality is outstanding. No missing parts and everything fit like it was supposed to. The net is included and the wheels are great for moving around.

With a few coupons and a sale we were able to purchase the outdoor table for the price of an indoor version (almost). I figured the outdoor version would last longer and I could move to pool patio at some point. It might also help with resale value down the road. Some have mentioned the play is different on an outdoor table. No on in the family has played table tennis for years so we did not have much experience to compare. Neither me or my daughter noticed anything to make us say, " its different."

The table was relatively easy to assemble. Two people are required at the very end. What was most frustrating is that two different sizes of bolts were not contained in the parts as well as an adequate number of nuts for one of the sizes. Further, there appeared to be a mixture of bolts in metric and inch sizes. One of the longer metric bolts that I needed I had to order online. There were actually a large number of leftover nuts and bolts that were not needed. That being said, I am very pleased with the quality of the table. It is very sturdy and, being made totally out of metal, should last a lifetime. Despite my frustration with missing parts, I would still purchase this table again. It is well worth the higher price compared to other tables given its overall construction.

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our boys. They love it. Sports Authority arranged for the delivery and installation. The installation was quick, although the guys seemed to be a man and his grandson, and the kid knew nothing. A few screws came out after they left, but I can't seem to see where they came from, and the table has held up great over the last 6 months outside in heat, cold, pollen, etc. It is also easy to fold up and put down. My 10 year old can do it by himself easily. We rolled it down the street once, and we roll it into the garage for air conditioning when we want to play but it's super hot or rainy. It is outdoors most of the time, usually fold ed up when not in use. I would order an extra net just in case you have squirrels or birds who want to tear at the net. We had that happen when we left it open for several weeks. The table has a special net that stays in place and folds up with the table, so you don't have to screw it on on every time you play. Great family fun for tweens!!! I compared this one to another brand that was similarly priced at another store, and I have been very happy with my choice.

Bought this table as a Christmas gift for my children. They love it. The assembly manual took a while to figure out because it was presented in picture form but after a while it all made sense. Understandably, because of the weight of the table top, it took two adult people to assemble. The finished product did not disappoint. It is a very sturdy table that will definitely last a lifetime. The components are aluminum and seem to be rustproof ( I am not sure about the nuts and bolts). The blue table top seems to have a rainproof/sunproof coating. I just love this table. It is so durable. Maybe I am also biased because it is made in Germany. Wheels make moving it around easy(best done in folded position).It takes two people to fold and unfold it but I found a way for one person to perform the maneuver by gently wedging a little plastic strip under the button on the opposite site of the table. I was also glad to have ordered the weatherproof protective cover at the same time because on the first night we had the table it rained. I was so happy that our table stayed dry. The cover is very light, fit perfectly and kept the table from being an eyesore in the patio when it is folded and tucked away. Me and my children enjoy playing table tennis and are looking forward to inviting friends over for hours of exercise and fun.

I looked around at several outdoor tables including some at our local neighborhood club to see how they are surviving harsh use and the outdoors. I saw this at a local sporting goods store and it impressed me with how sturdy it is. They had this one and another about $100 cheaper but this one was clearly sturdier. I had owned other tables in the past and a few seasons outdoors they were gone.[...] The assembly took me about 4 hours (twice the suggested time) but I work slow and read the instructions carefully which you must or you will redo parts of the assembly. As they say, there are assemblies which require 2 people.The parts were in several bags making it easier to group tasks with parts. The instructions were clear but again read/follow carefully. The table folds up/down easily and it is easy to move on my concrete patio. The wheel brakes work well and easy to set. Note it does take two people pushing on levers on opposite sides of table to fold/release table. This table is only available in blue (looks cool).I bought the cover and it fits well. I have only had the table for 1 month but right now I would definetly purchase again.
