      Buckles are difficult for kids to close on their own - need to be slapped down.
      Blades are holding up well, but are being used by a child (fairly light driveway and sidewalk use).
      Image of product is pretty true to reality. Looks a bit better in-hand.

        My 9 year old daughter takes lessons at the local rink. She loves these rollerblades especially the fact that they are NOT pink! They were a Christmas gift and so far so good , but we can' t really comment on durability just yet. I like the fact that the size is adjustable, and assuming they last, I won't be buying new ones twice a year.
        Color and style also makes them gender neutral! With the holiday sale, the price was an even better bargain than usual.
