Read the reviews that said they fell apart and was surprised. I bought these 3 months ago and have worked them hard- tennis 3-4 times a week (two leagues) and they are still in fantastic shape. They are easily the most comfortable tennis shoes I've ever owned and I get so many compliments on them. Fellow players have even written down the name so they can buy them. My next pair will be the same shoes.
I have four pairs of tennis shoes and two of them are the Mirabella III. I always go to them because they offer the most comfort and support. I love the way the arch support/shank can tighten around the arch with the laces. I have a wide foot and this is a shoe that is comfortable. So many leather shoes are too tight. The mesh does tear but the comfort is worth it. I've continued to wear them and wash them for over a year with the mesh torn. Please make the white and silver/grey again! It goes with every tennis outfit.
I searchd long and hard for a good pair of tennis shoes and decided on these because they were endorsed by Serena Williams AND they were are very cute and offer a variety of color choices. However, after wearing them only 3 times (!) on hardcourt, the mesh on the side of both shoes stretched out and then ripped apart. They are now completely useless as they offer zero support anymore. I am so mad and can't believe they fell apart like that. I learned my lesson and will always go for leather. No more mesh. As adorable as they are, I would not recommend these to anybody, unless you want to be buying a new pair of tennis shoes within a couple of weeks.
I use these sneakers to play NYC handball and it's aight, but not worth [$]. There's so much defects with size 8 for some reason where its too wide in the back. Women have skinnier heels than men. So the shoes are constantly slipping off of my foot. I came to realize that the other size 8's are worse than the ones I purchased, because I can place 2 fingers in the heel area. The 7 1/2's were uncomfortable near the arch area so that's why I stood with the ones that I bought.
