I am done with Sports Authority. I ordered these socks, mens size large 8-12. Shipped was a woman's 6-10. With invoice in hand showing Men's Large, I called customer service. They said I could return them (On my dime). I explained Sports Authority shipped the wrong items and asked if I could just go to the local store (25 miles away) and return them. I was advised I could.

I drove 25 miles and attempted to return them. The store manager verified the wrong items were shipped but told me I had to return them by mail. I asked them to call customer service to verify. This time customer service said I had to return them by mail, after I was already told I could return them to the store. The customer service agent on the phone didn't even care I would have driven 50 miles round trip based on what I was told prior that I could return the socks.

After a heated discussion on the phone with customer service in their Fresno, CA Store, the store manager finally agreed to take the socks back (5 pairs) and customer service on the phone agreed to reimburse me the shipping.

This is the last time I will ever, ever step foot into a Sports Authority store. I hope that somebody in management looks up my rewards points and see just how much I have spent at Sports Authority this year. Never again, will they see one red cent.

A very large competitor to Sports Authority has opened two new stores in Fresno, and hey they even take returns ordered online, no questions asked.

You can kiss my literally thousand plus dollars a year sports habit goodbye Sports Authority. The arrogance and condescending attitude of your phone customer service and the "I Don't Care" how much money you spend demeanor they displayed will be spread across the world wide web via social media.

PS, I wish I could review the product I ordered, but again, since I was shipped a completely different product I couldn't. I bet you won't even have the guts to allow this post to be posted.
