Chairman of the Board/Chief Executive Officer
Darrell Webb serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Sports Authority. In this role, Darrell oversees all day-to-day operations and strategic growth initiatives including store expansion, marketing, and merchandising.
Darrell is a 31-year veteran of the retail industry; most recently holding the positions of Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Jo-Ann Stores. Darrell has also held senior positions at The Kroger Company, Fred Meyer Stores and Quality Food Centers. As Darrell serves as Chairman and CEO of Sports Authority Stores, he retains his position as the Chairman of Jo-Ann Stores.
Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer
Thomas Hendrickson serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Sports Authority. In this role, Tom oversees the finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, internal audit, legal, logistics, asset protection, information services and procurement departments for Sports Authority. Tom is a certified public accountant and has over 33 years of business experience.
Tom became a Board Member of The Sports Authority in May 2006. Prior to this, he became non-director Vice Chairman and Chief Administrative Officer of The Sports Authority in August 2003, in addition to the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, which he has held since September 1996. Tom joined Sportmart in January 1993 as Vice President of Financial Operations. In March 1993, he was named Chief Financial Officer of Sportmart and, in March 1995, was named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Sportmart. From 1987 until joining Sportmart, Tom served as the Vice President and Controller of Millers Outpost Stores.
Executive Vice President/Merchandising
Greg Waters serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Merchant for Sports Authority. For the past 13 years, Greg has been responsible for managing all U.S. store operations for Sports Authority’s 465+ stores in 45 states.
In 2003, Greg was instrumental in coordinating the merger of all operational systems between The Sports Authority, Gart Sports, Oshmans and Sportmart. Prior to the merger, he served as Senior Vice President, Store Operations from 1998-2001 and as the Western Regional Vice President from 1994-1998.
Executive Vice President/Store Operations
Paul Gaudet serves as the Executive Vice President of Store Operations for Sports Authority. In this role, Paul oversees the operations of all 465+ Sports Authority stores across 45 states, including SA Elite and store support center operations.
Paul is a 25-year veteran in Sporting Goods retail. He joined Gart Bros. Sporting Goods in May of 1986 and went on to serve as District Manager in the Denver market from 1994-1999, Regional Vice President of the Rocky Mountain Region from 1999-2003, and Senior Vice President of Construction/Visual from 2003-2011. During his tenure at Sports Authority, Paul has developed a broad range of Operations experience and expertise.
