Comments about adidas Jump Rope Set with Carry Case:

This jump rope set is great. Stores in a nice zippered case. There are 2 ropes, a black thin one and a clear coated thicker one; both have spring loaded clips on the ends that secure well and both are secured into the case by 2 velcro straps. The handles screw open fairly easily to allow the 50g and 100g weights (both have large font telling which is what if you can't tell by the hole through the center of the 50g weight) to slide in. Just be sure you attach the rope to the handles the right way or it will just slide off on your first go (one side is inset deeper than the other). No problems with the bearings (or whatever it is; I can't tell and don't want to destroy them to find out) seizing up.

I'm 5'4" and the rope is a little long for me (by about 1" on both sides) but that's not a big issue for me. The issue is my legs tend to not keep up as well as they used to pre wife and kids (ya they got me fat lol) but that will change in no time.

Overall, it's worth the extra money to get this great set versus a cheap one. Plus, you get to be the guy/gurl who gets to brag about your awesome... designer...jump rope... set... sigh! /facepalm
