    Love these pants. I know they're not meant for it, but I've taken them out several times in winter conditions for skiing, snowshoeing, ice climbing, and winter hikes. They do great, despite the wet, cold conditions. They even survived a couple accidental snags with sharp crampons--no damage! Can't wait to see how they do during warmer months!
