For your convenience, in-store and online purchases can be returned or exchanged within 30 days to any Sports Authority store. Online purchases may also be returned by mail. Please make sure your item is eligible for return and you have everything you need. If you have an oversized item to return, please call our Customer Care Agents at 1.888.801.9164.

2014 Holiday Return Policy

During the busy holiday shopping season, we're making things a little easier on you. Our normal 30-day return policy has been extended for all holiday purchases made between November 1 and December 31, 2014. If you are not satisfied with your gift purchase made during this time, simply return it by January 31, 2015 by following our return instructions.

The item must be returned in unused condition, in original boxes (whenever possible), and with all paperwork, parts and accessories to insure full credit. All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a full refund of the purchase price, minus the shipping, handling, gift wrap, or other charges. Our Standard Return policies do not apply to all items.   2. Pack the item as it was originally shipped, including accessories and other parts.
  3. Don’t forget your receipt, packing slip or order confirmation email.
  4. Take your return to the store of your choice.

For convenient return processing on most items, your packing slip may include a pre-addressed label for your return package.

  1. Please make sure your item is eligible for return by mail and you have everything you need. If you have an oversized item to return, please call our Customer Care Agents at 1.888.801.9164.
  2. Pack the item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please include all paperwork, parts and accessories.
  3. Complete the return reason questionnaire on the packing slip and place it in the package. Remove the mailing label portion and include the remainder of the slip in the return package. Use the entire label.
  4. Affix the return label to the package. Before sending your return shipment, please remove or cover all extra labels on the outside of the package.
  5. Mailing Your Return:
    • Drop it off at any U.S. Postal Service location, your local Post Office™ or neighborhood postal collection boxes. You can also schedule a free postal carrier pick up, visit USPS.com to make arrangements.
    • Some shipping labels may have UPS® listed as an eligible carrier. Please check your label to see if you can ship it via UPS.
  6. Helpful Information You Should Know:
    • You can expect a refund in the same form of the original payment within one billing cycle (30 days) once we receive your return.
    • Credit for gift returns will be issued to the original purchaser.
    • You may track your return shipment through My Account, USPS.com or UPS.com.
