    Comments about Marcy Cage System:

Took about 2 hours to set up with two people
Multifunctional for the money-comes with pull down bar, dip bars, chains included
Wobbles a little bit when the weight is settled on it, but as a beginner weightlifter, squating around 225, the rack seems sturdy enough.

      Comments about Marcy Cage System:

iv been working out since I was 10. Now 45 new baby and cpt/and nutrionist. this cage allows for plenty of weight capacity for anyone seriouse about lifting and exercising properly. not anything I cant train nor unlimited for my clients as a added piece of equipment. assembly took me alone 1.5 hours easy to assemble /sold sturdy and multifunctional. the only slight knock would be the cable tower attachment could have been about 4 inches taller for a little greater range of motion. but lengthen or shorten your chains and good to go.

      Comments about Marcy Cage System:

I spent a lot of time reviewing this and products like it to pick out what the best option would be for me and my husband. This was great! I was leery because I couldn't find dimensions anywhere but it sits about 7' high, and about 5' wide and 6'deep. it doesn't take up a whole lot of space and my 6'2 225lb husband can do pull ups perfectly on it even with out low ceiling. the device is sturdy enough to handle him for dips and pull ups. you move the bars anywhere to help off balance weight on the machine. it did need some WD40 to make the pully mechanism easier to move. the only negative thing I can say is that the instructions are not user friendly, but it still only took about 2 hours to put together.

      Comments about Marcy Cage System:

I bought this power rack to use for the 5x5 style workout, including squats and bench press. It is very light weight and lifts off the ground on the oposite side if you use the dip bars. The directions are picture only, NO text. It's not terribly difficult to put together but I did have to back track and reassemble a couple of times because of the poor directions. It took about 3-4 hours to put together and there are no spare nuts or bolts, so don't lose any. While this will serve the purpose and allow safe squating, it is cumbersome to adjust the bars. I wish I had done more research and gotten a model with adjustable slides instead of the metal bars. I expect to use this for 1-2 years and replace with something sturdier.

It's less sturdy when using the latch bars for triceps.i noticed the side bars move as I was going up and down. I I'm only 160lbs.but I use the pully system for triceps, its much sterdy.so I stick to the pull system.other than that it's rock solid.

            Comments about Marcy Cage System:

I bought this system for $350, and honestly, it was an amazing purchase at that price. Yes, it DOES come with the upper and lower pulley system, the dip bars, the built-in storage system for weight plates, and the safety bars.
The system is very stable, but not as much as it would be if it were a full cage. I am able to really yank on it while doing pull-ups or set a lot of weight on it without it budging, but I wish parts of it were thicker steel. Not to say that this system is flimsy. I am just used to hardcore Hammer Strength machines at my gym. That being said, if you are in the market for a very versatile system, at a great price, you cannot go wrong with this.

The cage system is perfect for a home gym. Safety bars help when benching without a spotter. The pulley system is great for all types of exercises including rope curls, lat pull down, tricep ext, etc. This was a great purchase for my home gym.
