best running shope on the market

By ElRod

from Texas, United States

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

Love this shoe, after buying 1 pair a few months ago I realized that this was the shoe for me. I've undergone 2 Plantar Fasciitis release surgeries in the last 2 years and have had trouble finding a good shoe for my needs. I now own every color you offer, yea 6 pairs!!!! and am hoping you don't change this style EVER!!!! My custom orthotics fit perfectly in them and I'm never not in a pair of Prohecy 3's :)

What they say

By furanophil

from Japan

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

No doubt what the professionals say is true with this latest edition. The ride is subliminal and is stable at the same time. It has been written that some find the forefoot of putting and I would agree with that. My toes tend to get numb running in these babies. Though I would get classed as a heel striker I find there is a feeling of dragging my heels on the ground. This may do with the fact it's a higher stack height then what I am used to. So overall an excellent shoe but one that doesn't quite work for me. I would mostly run in my wave riders.

Step back from the first wave prophecy

By Nate525

from Minnesota, United States

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

I bought the new wave prophecy 3 about 3 months ago and I am a little disappointed coming from the original wave prophecy. My issue with the new wave prophecy is the the front part of sole underneath the toebox. I don't know if I got a poorly crafted pair or if this is a design flaw but the wave plate doesn't seem to go the front of the shoe and it feels like I have a large rock stuck under the front of my shoe. It doesn't seem to matter if I am running indoor or outdoor the problem is there. I also don't feel the smooth transition from heel to toe that was present for the first wave prophecy. Overall these shoes are better than the majority on the market but still a step back. I only wish I would of stockpiled pairs of the original wave prophecy. I can't rack up the miles like used to with the originals.

By rksport

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

Mizuno failed in Prohecy 3 design. I hope Prophecy 4's design similar as Prophecy 2 (the best)

Help!

By jap23

from Omaha, NE, United States

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

I tried these on at the store and fell in love. At this time I cannot affford the Wave Prophecy 3. As a nursing assistant and student nurse, I believe these shoes will make the 12 hour work day incrediably more tolerable on my feet! As a new marathon runner I feel these shoes will relieve the pressure in my hips and knees. I am a former college football player and weigh 225 pounds so long distances put a tole on my already damaged joints. In the few minutes I wore the Prophecy 3 I felt how they displace my weight and guide me to naturally go from heel to toe. My question is does Mizuno only sponsor athlete's or do you have some sort of sponsorships for health care providers? P.S I currently wear the Nike Free 3.0 and after one of three shifts my feet, knees, and hips are in need of an ice bath.

I haven't ran with these yet, but just from my first week of walking them, I am so very impressed. Most comfortable and supportive shoe I've ever worn and the style/pattern is just awesome.

Cushion surprise

By Anonymous

from Charleston, WV, United States

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

I purchased the prophecy 3 about three months ago, I wish I had purchased the 2 series rather then just take the jump from 1 to 3. This shoe is a lot lighter than the prophecy 1, but I still love the design of the original, especially in the toe area. Overall it is a fantastic shoe which has lived up to expectations and more. I believe you are doing something right, don't dtop innovating.

Some issues

By JBruce

from Coral Springs, FL, United States

Comments about MIZUNO Women's Wave Prophecy 3 Running Shoes:

I find the tongue to be shorter than the previous WP2. When I slip on the WP3 the tongue slides toward the toes which is annoying to try and grab to retrieve.
