This vivofit is too hard to put on especially on a small wrist--the closure must be pushed in hard and then pulling the lock piece over it is difficult. It also does not have a light behind its screen so the info cannot be seen in a darker area--the vivofit 2 is much better!
I put it on when I got it & haven't taken it off. Being able to see the display without pushing a button was a big selling point so I can use it as a watch. If I'm walking I can put it on the step mode and glance down to see my progress. I can shower with it and it also records my sleep even when I forget to put it in sleep mode. I don't have to worry about forgetting to charge it since the battery lasts a whole year. Buy it! You won't regret it.
I liked it, great my only thing is I would like it to lite up night. Always buy the insurance to cover any problem. I had my first on 3 weeks and it wouldn't down load to my iPhone. went back to Sport Authority, they were super couldn't fix it game me a new one. They are super to deal with and it works great. Thank you again
I use this as a watch and activity tracker. Good to wear as a professional and an athlete. Excellent battery life. Aside from walking I run long distance and this is pretty accurate and it is REALLY easy to use. Using sleep mode is also very easy to use. the screen is really bright. I had no problems with syncing my heart rate strap with this device which I used with other Garmin Devices just make sure it's Ant+. It does not have GPS but it's pretty accurate. This device was recommended to me since I am more active than the average walker which is what the other activity trackers seem to cater to.
The Sync feature usually fails, making the online software useless. To make matters worse,Garmin blames the customer. suggesting the customer "do this", "do that". Look online for complaints. The fact is, the product fails to work as advertised and the fault is 100% Garmin's.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
