Comments about FreeMotion® 645 Elliptical:

We had the machine delivered and assembled and began using it. We are a family of 4 using it so it is getting a lot of use. Convinced into purchasing the extended service on it which i never do. Had the machine for about 6 months now last month the pedal did make some noise contacted the store we bought it from for the service and they were extremely helpful! It was actually surprising they called the servicd company for us and got the tech over within the week and everything was checked out they even found a loose wire that they fixed.

Returning to store..

By Rye M

from Waldorf, MD

Comments about FreeMotion® 645 Elliptical:

Very disappointed in this machine. Like others below, I encountered the same issues with ICON service. After only 1-2 days of minimum use the right pedal began making this incessant squeaking noise when your foot reaches the lowest point on the stride. Might I add that my spouse and I are considered lean/thin people and not heavy by any means. Reported it to ICON online about 4 days ago via their website since they encourage you to sign up for the warranty online. Never heard back until about 1 month later after I returned the machine back to the store. Customer service is horrific as others mentioned with this company. Also note that the screen is small and mediocre even for a LCD and difficult to navigate. Stride isn't as smooth as I liked and the water bottle holder placed in an awkward position. Returned for a refund and will look to invest in a more reputable higher end brand elsewhere. Would not recommend at all.

I just got it today and so far it runs smooth. I will review again in month to give more feedback. I am sad it has other bad reviews, I might of waited but I guess I need to give it a chance. I purchased the floor model and I have extended service.

After one year the pedal will break and it's not repairable. Basically you have to throw it in trash can. It is good only for one year. If you have enough money to buy every year it's a very good product other wise I do not recommend it.

                Comments about FreeMotion® 645 Elliptical:

Just a week after getting this product, it started making a creaking noise. I contacted customer service at icon service. After walking through initial troubleshooting steps, they said a technician will contact me in 3 to 5 business days. It has been over 3 weeks no call. I called customer service again to complain, they informed some one will contact soon. Again it has been over a week and no call. My only feedback is to help other folks not go through this process.

                Comments about FreeMotion® 645 Elliptical:

I have to use the machine without knowing what program I am in because it arrived with a broken display and I had to call Icon and order a new one which I have to wait up to 3 weeks before complaining about it being out of stock to be shipped to me. This is junk that I spent over $900 bucks for a machine with a broken display, I can't see what I'm doing on it or connect it to wifi or us iFit which is why I bought this machine in the first place. You have to tear the box apart just to get the thing out.
