Deserves zero stars

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

I would give this product zero stars if allowed to do so. This was the third exercise bike we have purchased over the years. At a minimum, it is used 40-60 minutes per day, 5-6 days per week and this bike is not up to the task. We purchased it in Jan 2013 and have had nothing but problems with it since. Over the past 34 months, we have had a myriad of parts shipped to us to aid in the repair of the problems and a technician has been out to our home to repair the bike at least 7-8 times since we purchased it. The main problems we've experienced are that the pedals become loose and fall off, the tension continually slips, and there is some sort of inherent problem with the fly wheel. A technician was in our home last month to try to repair the bike once again and replaced many of the working parts of the bike. The first couple of days after he left the bike worked perfectly but then the tension started slipping again and the left pedal loosened while biking. Enough is enough. We have bought another bike from another manufacturer. If you are a regular user of your exercise bike, save yourself the money and the aggravation and DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE!

Do Not Buy from this Company

By Concerned Comsumer

from PA

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

This is the company that made the Epic recumbent bike. The bike did not last for more than 2 and a half years. When certain parts break that you cannot fix yourself they must send a technician which is expensive. When you try to send back the part they will not budge on the shipping or restocking fee. This is a company that produces junk and will not stand behind it.

Nice copy of the NordicTrack Elite 5.4

By Thirstynot

from Edwardsville, IL

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

Casual user 2-3 times per week
This bike looks exactly like the NordicTrack but the resistance seems more intense. Overall a good bike but this bike will build some muscle in a hurry.
Customer service is hard to reach but helpful once you get through.

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

After some extensive research I decided to look at this bike and one other to help rehab my 2 knee replacements. After sitting on this bike it was the right choice because of my height. I was a little cautious because of previous reviews regarding set-up. After purchase I'm convinced that those who had difficulity had little mechanical aptitude. We were able to set it up and give it a go in 85 minutes and 1 beer. It works as advertised, nice bike.

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

My wife and I bought this bike so we could exercise indoors during the cold weather. Take your time putting it together. It took me about three hours and 5 beers. It's not rocket science but as always the directions aren't very clear. They do supply numerous wrenches for assembly. I must say the 2 speed fan is worthless. You have to put your hand right next to it to feel it. It is comfortable and there is plenty of seat adjustment for long legs. I was interested in buying the I-fit module but the reviews are terrible so I am hesitant. All in all, it is an excellent recumbent stationary bike.

I am an 84 year YOUNG Great grandmother who absolutely LOVES THE 350R recumbent bike. Tried it out several times in Sports Authority before deciding and actually made an extra sale for the store! (I did so much research that the manager wanted to offer me a job!) The sale price and assembly was well worth the joy of this bike. Was using a treadmill after knee replacement 3 years ago but doctor recently advised a recumbent bike. It's so comfortable to ride, seat and leg room. Buy this bike...you WILL BE VERY HAPPY!

Comments about FreeMotion 350R Recumbent Bike:

Bought this to rehab after having both knees scoped and manipulated. My spouse and I will both use it avidly to work out after my slow rehab. However, it arrived with a defective console and they won't give me a new bike, I have to wait for a console to come in stock, have it shipped and then have the tech come back out and re-install the console. Not customer friendly and certainly not a good start. (Please see comments under service/delivery). The heavier flywheel is appealing and it rides quite smoothly. I rode the demo several times before settling on it. I won't give the price but it was not full retail and that added to the appeal. It's rather large which I do not like, however my knees don't hit when I pedal so that is the tradeoff. Otherwise, my only real review of this comes in the fact that I am not impressed to receive a new bike w/a broken console and not very good customer service from the 3rd party company that assembled and delivered the bike for over one hundred more dollars. We will see from there but I'd think twice before I got it if I had known.
