Better Luck Next Time

Comments about Easton 2-in-1 Throw/Field Trainer:

Product looks great and assembly was easy and quick, but this product will not hold up to what it was intended for. We bought this item for the purpose of pitching practice. The grommets ripped out the first day as well as the bias on the bottom stitching. May be better suited for younger kids.

Broke in 5 days

Comments about Easton 2-in-1 Throw/Field Trainer:

This was a good product until 5 days after we purchased it. By then, a corner of the net was ripped and the crossbar broke! Our son is only 8 and he doesn't pitch that hard, so it all comes down to poor craftsmanship. We returned it for a full refund. Thankfully, Sports Authority was completely understanding.

Comments about Easton 2-in-1 Throw/Field Trainer:

OK im really not satisfied with this product and other products i bought from you. i really wanted this product for my sons, but there were cracks in the frame and the pitching trainer ripped after 3 pitches. then I returned for a different one and it did not have all of the parts. now on our third one and it just not the right angles that we liked with the first one.

The only plastic parts in the system broke

By beanball

Comments about Easton 2-in-1 Throw/Field Trainer:

Most components are metal and the construction is OK. There is a crossbar and a few related supports that are plastic, however, and when a baseball hit the crossbar through the pitching target, several of the plastic parts shattered. Its a poor design and I'm not sure that it would be any better if the parts were made out of metal.

Good visual for kids, poor quality

By Baseball Dad

Pros

  • Versatile

Cons

  • Plastic parts

Best Uses

  • Young kids

Comments about Easton 2-in-1 Throw/Field Trainer:

The product provides a "pitch back" side for fielding and a "batter" side for pitching. Versatile product for all kids' needs. Bad news is the cross-bar is made of plastic and broke the first time my son threw a ball that hit the bar. Day 1 and I had to repair the plastic bar so the product would stand.
