A surprising amount of stuff can fit inside this EASTON® E100P backpack! Sized for youth players, it can hold large gear like a batting helmet, fielding glove and a pair of cleats inside its roomy main compartment; loops on the sides secure 2 bats for transport to the diamond. Batting gloves have a designated space to hang on the front, and an external pocket keeps smaller game accessories and personal belongings out of sight.
T420-denier hex ripstop and 600-denier polyester construction
My son plays baseball so this product is specifically used for this. The thing he loves most about this bat backpack is that his bats are easily available to him. He loves that he can attach his batting gloves to the outside of the bag as well. The only issue I have with the bag is that it could be just a little bigger as it is hard to make sure his helmet, gloves and shoes fit just right. If he packs the bag then nothing fits, I always have to go behind him to make sure everything is just so, so we are able to zip it up. Other than that it was an absolute solid purchase.
The bag is the perfect size for my little 6-yr-old softball player. It holds her batting helmet (with a mask), her fielding glove, and her visor all tucked together inside the helmet. The small front pocket holds her batting gloves, and there are convenient velcro strips on the outside where she can place them when not using them. The two side pockets work well for one bat and one water bottle (or two bats if you prefer).
I purchased this bag to use as a day use bag for going to amusement parks and hiking. It is smaller than a regular backpack but will fit 2 large beach towels, snacks, and 6 waters with a little room to spare. I have also packed it with more water and a cooler block which kept everything cold for a 3 hour hike. I could see that is would be great for an adolescent ball player if used as intended.
