Made kickball more fun

Comments about EASTON 5-Piece Throw Down Base Set:

My son wanted bases for playing kickball and wiffle ball in our cul de sac. I got them at Christmas. They are a perfect, inexpensive solution. They're light weight, but durable rubber. They don't slip too easily when the kids run across them. They were just what we needed.

very thin rubber - warped

Comments about EASTON 5-Piece Throw Down Base Set:

they come in a flat box to keep them in a flat shape. Once they are out of the box, they don't stay flat. They are very thin. The corners are all warped, just from being out for a few hours at the party. I gave them 2 stars because the kids had a great time playing, but i could not recommend them to a friend. Not sure if the $40 versions are any better or not.

Comments about EASTON 5-Piece Throw Down Base Set:

did not realize that it would be so lightweight and flimsy. thought it would be a little heavier and stiff. have to be careful if it is wet because and you step on it, it is slippery. also because it is so light, it may move when you step on it, especially if on dirt and running.

Comments about EASTON 5-Piece Throw Down Base Set:

My 4-year old loves these bases - others have said they are not sturdy, but they seem OK to me. Of course, my 35-pounder is less wear on them than a 200 pound man, so maybe for more rugged use, you would want to opt for the beefier bases. This works for us, and the price is right.
