Designed to be an affordable entry- to mid-level computerized GoTo telescope, the Celestron® NexStar 127SLT is loaded with valuable design features. Using SkyAlign, simply input the date, time and location into the hand control, then slew the telescope to any three bright celestial objects in the sky. You can see the lunar surface, Venus and its phases, polar caps on Mars, Jupiter and its 4 moons, Saturn with its rings and much more!
A star diagonal is an angled mirror or prism that allows viewing from a direction perpendicular to the eyepiece axis. It enables more comfortable viewing when the telescope is pointed directly overhead. The resulting image is shown right side up, but reversed from left to right.
