Not for Adults

Comments about BODYFIT Aerobic Step:

The non-slip leg Risers didn't make it through the first workout. My 130 pound son was doing simple step ups when a riser collapsed into the bottom of the Aerobic Step. Poor Design!!!! Waist of money.

Cheap and extra risers not available

      Comments about BODYFIT Aerobic Step:

I am a personal trainer, and was shocked to learn extra risers are not available. That would be like buying a car and leanring A/C is not available. How can you advance without eventually needing to raise the height? Additionally, the step itself is cheap and caves in on itself. This was also surprising considering I am a thin runner. The platform itself is unusally small, so you need pinpoint aim, or look out. I blame myself, as I trusted Sport Authority and the item was on sale, but I should have first read the reviews. My bad, but at least now my review is added to the list. Do not buy this item.

          It's fine for simple moves

          Comments about BODYFIT Aerobic Step:

Not the biggest or best platform, but it's compact so if you've got only a small space or you want to throw it in the car to take with you, it's convenient. To use the inserts, be sure to push them in firmly and ensure that the larger part of the insert is being pushed in. I've found that they stay fine. Be sure to be on truly level ground. And I admit I haven't tried it with aggressive repeated step-up exercises; I use it for balance reach pivots to correct a hip condition. I think you'd want something larger and sturdier for a high-intensity aerobic workout.

          Comments about BODYFIT Aerobic Step:

Brought this product and was immediately disappointed when I opened it. Cheap flimsy plastic and the legs didn't fit in well.

Began using it and needed to rest weights against it so it wouldn't move.

On the third day, when I stepped on it, the side caved with the leg getting stuck inside. I pulled it out and fixed it and when I went to step on it again the same thing happened. The shape has warped and its now unusable.

          Maybe it's cause I'm fat. I'm 5'7 150lbs. Would give this 0 stars if I could.
