Comments about Alpine Design Men's Carbon Composite Anti-Shock Trekking Poles:

I bought these poles to replace a set of poles that used an internal expansion device to adjust the length. You had to rotate the shaft several times to adjust the length of each section. Consequently if you leave a section loose and clip you poles to a back pack when you are not using them you run the risk of loosing the bottom section. That shouldn't be a problem with the cam device on these poles.
